Guava

Top > Horticulture > Fruits > Guava

Although the genus guava contains over 100 species of tropical shrubs and small trees, the cultivars of the apple guava (Psidium guajava, Myrtaceae) are most commonly traded commercially. Fruits of commercial cultivars are soft when ripe, sweet, and with fully edible seeds. We provide information about the numerous aspects of production of guavas including cultivation, pests and diseases, harvest, postharvest and storage.
