Parsley

Top > Horticulture > Vegetables > Parsley

Parsley (Petroselinum crispum, Apiaceae) comprises two cultivar groups which are ordered by plant part used. Grown as a herb for its leaves, leaf parsley is subdivided into curly leaf parsley (P. crispum ssp. crispum) and flat leaf parsley (P. neapolitanum). The second group is root parsley (P. crispum ssp. tuberosum) which is cultivated for its thick roots. We provide information about the numerous aspects of production of parsley including cultivation, pests and diseases, harvest, postharvest and storage.
